Read-only view of the lazily-built bulk-load cache, keyed by entity identity. Returns when the cache has not been initialised yet (e.g. before the first read on a BulkLoad list). Useful for diagnostics — and lets tests assert on cache state without reaching into private fields.

The held rows grouped by something other than their identity, so a caller asking for "the rows of this owner" is answered by a lookup rather than by walking the whole table.

Reads the key off a row; it also identifies the grouping, so the same one is built once and reused.
